Haryana RERA Gurugram Bench Disposes 2,174 Cases, Aims for Faster Resolutions, ETRealty


NEW DELHI: The Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HRERA), Gurugram bench has disposed of all pending complaints filed up to 2024, clearing a backlog of over 2,100 cases, according to an official statement.

A total of 2,174 cases were pending as of March 31, 2025, including complaints dating back to 2018. These have now been adjudicated, leaving only cases filed in 2025 and thereafter for consideration.

The pending caseload included 1,060 cases from 2024, 654 from 2023, and 333 from 2022, along with smaller numbers from earlier years.

During calendar year 2025, the authority disposed of 5,024 complaints, granting relief such as refunds or delayed possession compensation based on case merits.

The regulator said it aims to reduce the average time for case disposal from the current 12-15 months to 6-9 months.

According to data from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, HRERA Gurugram has disposed of about 93.6% of the 17,893 complaints registered so far, among the highest disposal rates across states.
